As the beauty of fall comes down around our Indiana homes, it’s time to celebrate the harvest, the cooler temperatures, and the stunning change of colors. While you’re enjoying all of the changes of the seasons, we hope you aren’t seeing changes in your smile. Over time, it is normal for the color of your teeth to change, but there are some things you can do to prevent the change from occurring too quickly.
Straws – When drinking beverages like tea, soda, and juice, it is wise to use a straw. The straw will keep the staining powers of the beverage away from your teeth.
Limit Stain-Causing Foods – While berries for breakfast is healthy and delicious, eating it every day can cause staining of your smile. Limit these treats or take care to brush after eating to prevent staining.
Whiten With Confidence – When your teeth do change colors, consider coming into the office for a whitening experience. Avoid the whitening boxes that you’ll find in the drugstore as they might endanger your smile.
Allow the new season to change while you smile freely with your stunning white teeth! Contact us today to set up an appointment or consultation. We’d love to hear from you and help you maintain the smile of your dreams.
