Why Should Really Smile Place Your Dental Implant?

dental implants in Carmel, IN

In our previous blog, we talked about the popularity and growing use of sedation. As you can tell after reading it, there are many different levels of sedation, and not all dental offices advertising for sedation are able to offer too of the benefits to you!

It’s important to do your research when looking for a dental office in Indianapolis because you want to make sure that you get exactly what you’re looking for! We can help you make those decisions by being upfront about all of our options!

When it comes to dental implants, we offer services that you won’t find everywhere! In fact, we are a very unique practice here in Carmel because we are able to offer our patients so many things under the same roof! Let’s take a look at a few of the top reasons why our patients choose us for all of their dental implant needs!

We Build Relationships

We are not a checklist, in and out, pick a service off the shelf type of dental practice. When you come into our office for a consultation or appointment, we are there to get to know you! We want to know what your smile goals are, what your history includes, and we want to have a good understanding of how you got to your current smile!

There are so many things to learn about you, that we really need to build a relationship with you. After all, we are going to be caring for one of your greatest assets. We want to make sure we do a stellar job, and that requires a lot of trust!

One-Stop Shop

We are one of the few dental offices in the Indianapolis area that are truly a one-stop shop for dental implants. For other dental procedures, that doesn’t matter as much, but when it comes to dental implants, you want as much done under one roof as possible!

In-House CT – Great implant placement requires great images of your jaw, and an X-ray just won’t cut it! We really need CT scans. In other offices, that would require a trip to the hospital or special imaging office. We simply walk you down the hall to our cone beam CT scanner and take the images we need!

All Sedation Available – Having an implant placed can make you feel a little bit nervous! We understand, which is why we have just about every sedation option possible available to you! You can be awake, asleep, drug-free, or under complete anesthesia!

Place and Restore Implants – You’ll find that very few dental offices are able to do the implant placement as well as the implant restoration (attaching a tooth to the implant). We can do both, and we can do it in a much shorter time-frame than anyone else in the area!

Guided Implant Placement

One thing that really sets us apart is our use of guided implant placement. There are two ways to place an implant. The first is from a dentist who has a pretty good idea of where the implant should be placed but will have to find a great spot during your surgery, which means much more damage to your gums.

We use a guided placement system. This means that we take MANY different images of your jaw before the surgery. We are looking at your jaw and mouth from all angles so that we can plan your placement. Before we begin your surgery, we know exactly where, and at what angle, your dental implant will be placed for optimal stability and comfort.
